Since the economy began sliding downhill in late 2007, mainstream economic and market experts have consistently erred on the sunny side.

As late as June 2008, mainstream consensus held that the U.S. was heading for a “soft landing” and would avoid recession. Several months later, the slump was acknowledged to have started in January 2008, but we were supposed to see renewed growth by mid-2009, with unemployment peaking in the eight-to-nine percent range. A quick “shovel-ready” stimulus bag was supposed to set us back on the road to prosperity.

In January, recovery projections were pushed forward to late 2009. Today, the consensus is for a mid-2010 recovery, with unemployment peaking at just over 10 percent. Clearly, the mainstream has struggled to catch up to reality for well over one year. What are the chances that they finally have it right this time?

Moreover, the mainstream continues to see what is going on as a plain-vanilla recession that will be quelled with some on-the-fly monetary and fiscal tinkering. Washington, we are told, will pull us out of this slump—as soon as the masses can be enticed back to the shopping malls. Then things will return to how they were before. But what if the experts and politicians are wrong not only on their ever-changing recovery timeline, but also on the nature—nay, the very existence—of a recovery?

America’s reigning political-economic ideology has demonstrably failed. Given that its government is obviously fumbling along without a clue, its foreign and domestic credit is tapped out, and its 300 million people are discovering that their hopes for continuous material improvement will never be met, could the U.S. be headed the way of the USSR?

Instead of a recovery as the mainstream envisions it, what if America permanently bankrupts, impoverishes, and marginalizes itself? What if its cherished institutions fail across the board? For example, what happens when the police realize that their under-funded pension plans cannot support a decent retirement? Will they stay honest, or will they opt to survive by any means necessary? Those who channel the entity known as Ra report that he has been involved in the affairs of our planet for the past 75,000 years. The Origin of Ra

Long before the inception of life on this planet, Ray says, there were Third Density life forms on Venus similar to our human forms on Earth..

Through evolution, these life forms ”ascended” beyond the Third Density and ultimately fused together into a unified complex which is the entity we now refer to as Ra. Ra identifies himself as a ”social memory complex.”

According to Ra, there are eight densities that all life must pass through, and in his present form, Ra exists on the Sixth Density.

Planets can be terraformed, when the beings inhabiting them are ready to transform into other densities. Our Collective Body

The great sage, A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (founder of the Hari Krishna movement), once said “there is no love but self-love.” He certainly doesn’t mean “self-love” as the popular, ego-centered existence, would have you create. It is an entirely different notion of the “self,” one that regards all sentient beings as part of one’s self-hood.

Like many of the great thinkers throughout history, Srila Prabhupada realized that we are all intimately joined with a great body of energy that forms the basis all beings in the myriad of dimensions that make up our existence.

Indeed the thoughts that comprise the very fiber of our being are made of energy, not atoms and molecules. Still today, however, the scientists are mystified by the psychic world, as they have not yet devised a method by which psychic forces can be measured and understood with material instruments.

The past, as we understand it, is a collection of lies. These lies have been passed down from generation to generation. With each successive generation, what little truth the people are aware of becomes diluted, time and ignorance envelop and dis-integrate the remaining vestiges of compassion and understanding. It is common for us to forget that the chemistry of our bodies is a direct reflection of our minds; every thought we think and every emotion we feel changes this chemistry drastically. This being the case, it is essential, for one’s overall well being and spiritual advancement, to cultivate a feeling of harmony.
