The “Wipe Israel Off The Map” Hoax

What Ahmadinejad really said and why this broken record is just another ad slogan for war

Paul Joseph Watson | Prison Planet
Friday, January 26, 2007

Barely a day goes by that one can avoid reading or hearing yet another Israeli, American or British warhawk regurgitate the broken record that Iran’s President Ahmadinejad threatened to “wipe Israel off the map,” framed in the ridiculous context that Israeli’s are being targeted for a second holocaust. This baseless rallying call for conflict holds about as much credibility as Dick Cheney’s assertion that Saddam Hussein was planning to light up American skies with mushroom clouds.

Today it’s the turn of would-be future British Prime Minister David Cameron, leader of the Conservative Party, who repeated the “wipe Israel off he map” fraud in a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, using it to qualify his refusal to rule out a military strike on Iran under a Tory government.

Did Ahmadinejad really threaten to “wipe Israel off the map” or is this phrase just another jingoistic brand slogan for selling the next war in the Middle East? Read the rest of this entry »

Water Fast: Day 3

I decided this Wednesday to do a water-only fast that, I hope, will last for a total of seven full days. I have a variety of reasons for doing this; the primary reason is the detox benefits that go along with starving the body of caloric intake for a prolonged period of time.

I can feel that my body has reached the end of the Liver’s glycogen stores and is now resorting to ketosis (the burning of fats) for energy. This is signified by sluggishness due to the body’s inability to obtain energy from stored glycogen. This process begins on the second day of the fast and will last for the remainder of this third day.

What the body is unable to obtain by ketosis it obtains by catabolizing, which is the process of breaking down muscle tissue and utilizing the amino acids therin. On day 2 of the fast, between 2 and 3 ounces of muscle tissue are utilized; after this the body begins to conserve the muscle fibers to such an extent that the body could go for a full month without food and only lose 1/4 pound of muscle.

If I can make it through the weekend without breaking the fast, I plan on doing an extensive detoxification regimen next week involving a colonic irrigation. Colonic irrigation is essential for the detoxification to continue unhindered, since the toxins of the colon block the exit of the toxins released by the ketosis process.

If this fast is anything like previous fasts, then I expect to have more energy and feel younger when all is said and done. There is no other process, that I know of, that is as effective as a water fast at accomplishing the cleansing, detoxification and renewal of the body.

Tool timed last four songs of Lateralus to 2001: A Space Odyssey

If you’ll watch the following video, you may agree that Tool intentionally timed the music for the last four tracks of Lateralus to the last segment of 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Video: Tool & 2001: A Space Odyssey

Having watched it several times already, here’s what I noticed (click on the time to go directly to that point in the video):

  • When playing the last segment of 2001 (starting from the spot where it says “Jupiter and Beyond the Infinite”), in combination with the last four tracks on the album Lateralus (Disposition, Reflection,Triad and Faap de Oiad), they begin and end at PRECISELY the same time.
  • 01:14 – The introduction of the tabla drum, in Disposition, coincides very closely with the rotating monolith. The objects on the screen also start moving down instead of up at this point.
  • 02:55 – The guitar transitions into a new melody as the sun is fades in , as the sun fades out this melody transitions to a different one. The melody fades out precisely as the star leaves the right-hand side of the screen with the flash of the corona.
  • 04:11 – As the camera zooms into the ship the music transitions to Reflection.
  • 04:50 – When Reflection transitions into the drum-intensive part, the man Dave begins to travel through the trippy lights. This is where the music really gets intensely coordinated with the film.
  • 09:00 – the guitar’s transition to a new melody begins exactly as the camera changes shots.
  • 11:18 – When Maynard begins singing about the source of the reflection, the scene shifts to Mars and begins to zoom into the planet.
  • 13:45 – When Maynard begins singing about ego-loss (crucify the ego before its far too late…), the camera begins to ascend up a mountain.
  • 15:00 – Reflection ends in the bedroom where the astronaut (Dave) sees himself at several stages in his life.
  • 16:00 – As reflection fades out (and Triad begins), the movie scene transitions to the scene where Dave is walking around in a red suit. As Dave walks closer to the point where he sees himself in the mirror the music crescendos.
  • 20:10 – A musical transition occurs as Dave sets his wine chalace down onto the table.
  • 20:22 – A musical transition occurs as Dave knocks the wine chalace onto the floor.
  • 20:40 – When Dave looks up and begins to notice himself as an old man laying in bed the music begins to intensify.
  • 21:17 – The music climaxes as the bed-ridden Dave starts reaching up to point at the monolith.
  • 22:20 – As the music de-crescendos the film zooms into the monolith.

There are many things that I noticed which I cannot describe very well; my intuition tells me that there is something to this. The first couple of times that I watched it, I began to realize the connections and I noticed chills running along my spine.

I’m going to think about this some more and revise this with more thoughts later… Please feel free to add your own observations.

Kahotep and the rise of Egypt

The color purple has, for centuries, often been associated with power, royalty, wealth, and strength. Engineers have a time-tested tradition of soaking themselves with purple dye. This is done to commemorate the honorable engineer Kahotep.

An ancient Egyptian story tells that Kahotep was an Egyptian scholar who is estimated to have lived around 3500 B.C. By today’s standards, he would have been considered to be a mineral engineer, as he built wells in many town not directly along the Nile. Read the rest of this entry »

Running to Paradise

by William Butler Yeats

As I came over Windy Gap
They threw a halfpenny into my cap,
For I am running to Paradise;
And all that I need do is to wish
And somebody puts his hand in the dish
To throw me a bit of salted fish:
And there the king is but as the beggar.

My brother Mourteen is worn out
With skelping his big brawling lout,
And I am running to Paradise;
A poor life do what he can,
And though he keep a dog and a gun,
A serving maid and a serving man:
And there the king is but as the beggar.

Poor men have grown to be rich men,
And rich men grown to be poor again,
And I am running to Paradise;
And many a darling wit’s grown dull
That tossed a bare heel when at school,
Now it has filled an old sock full:
And there the king is but as the beggar.

The wind is old and still at play
While I must hurry upon my way,
For I am running to Paradise;
Yet never have I lit on a friend
To take my fancy like the wind
That nobody can buy or bind:
And there the king is but as the beggar.

Every fool, he is broken beneath the same unholy curse

The past, as we understand it, is a collection of lies. These lies have been passed down from generation to generation. With each successive generation, what little truth the people are aware of becomes diluted, time and ignorance envelop and dis-integrate the remaining vestiges of compassion and understanding. So we’ve reached a point, in this great cycle of being, where the truth is so diluted that we haven’t the foggiest idea who we are or where we are going. Read the rest of this entry »

Beware of the Soy “health food” Hype

In recent years, it has become widely accepted that Soy, prepared in any way, is a health food. It is thought that Soy is an alternative to animal-based foods. Proponents of this ideology often cite the “fact” that Asian cultures, notorious for their excellent health, consume a diet rich in Soy.

In fact, nothing could be further from the truth, these beliefs about the Asian use of Soy are simply lies propagated by the very same people who fill their pockets with the money of the misguided individuals who want to improve their health.

Scientific research has linked Soy to a variety of health problems including: cancer, brain damage, hormonal imbalances, thyroid problems, kidney stones, sexual dysfunction and behavior problems. The following article from Dr. Mercola covers most of the information available regarding the dangers of Soy. Read the rest of this entry »

Cell Phone Health Effects | Busy Signals: Think Twice Before You Place That Call

Cellphone Skull Penetration

by William Thomas | WillThomas.net

Though intended for renovations, Chris Anderson would like all visitors to deposit their cellular phones in the cement mixer by his front door. This sounds excessive – until you step into Anderson’s orchard, where the pegged needle of a shrieking electromagnetic radiation (EMR) meter placed beside a connected cellphone still shows significant exposure 100 feet away.

Much to the chagrin of this certified EMR-mitigation specialist, every day some 300 million cell phone users are “reaching out and touching someone you love. Yourself, and anyone else within range of the microwaves emitted by your cell phone.” Read the rest of this entry »
