The Insipid AIDS Industry

A study was conducted, measuring “HIV” using the Western Blot HIV test. It was conducted on a carefully selected group of 90,000 hospital patients, who were thought NOT to be at risk for the “disease.”

The results of the Western Blot HIV test revealed 25% of all men and 8% of women testing positive for HIV. These results call into question the accuracy of such a study.

People diagnosed HIV+ are routinely and systematically stripped of their individual rights. They face legal penalties (i.e. a pregnant woman losing her child) if they refuse the deadly AIDS drugs. Read the rest of this entry »

The Cultivation of Realization: Suffering

Translated by Thomas Cleary

Simply because they cannot get rid of one thing, namely craving, people crave fame and profit and become bound by fame and profit; they crave wine and flesh and become bound by wine and flesh; they crave status and prestige and become bound by status and prestige; they crave children and grandchildren and become bound by children and grandchildren. They bind up the true nature in all sorts of mixed-up ways, coming and going in the human world subject to unlimited suffering.

A fetus develops from the combination of the sperm from the father and the ovum from the mother. The amniotic sac is like a prison, constricting the body. When the mother eats something hot, it is like boiling water is being poured on the body of the fetus; when the mother eats something cold, it is like ice is being pressed against its body. When the energy is full and the fetus is complete, it urgently wants to get out; but it must first break through the sac. It takes a few days for the water to break: people only know of the suffering of the mother’s labor pains–they do not know that the infant suffers even more. Only at parturition, when it cries out, are the sufferings in the womb over.

How food manufacturers hide MSG…

MSG is a common food additive which is used in a wide variety of processed foods at restaurants and the supermarket. MSG is dangerous because it is an excitotoxin, which means it overexcites your cells to such an extent that they become damaged.

The substance is often hidden in foods under names, including but not limited to: broth, casein, hydrolyzed and autolyzed. As dangerous as the substance is, it can even be found in the infant formulas.

Although you may realize that MSG is harmful, you may not know that scientists have also linked MSG to obesity; this fact was known all the way back in the 1960’s. It causes your body to produce visceral fat, a dangerous fat that surrounds organs and increases the chance of insomnia, stroke, heart attack and type 2 diabetes.

The Cultivation of Realization: Heaven and Earth

Translated by Thomas Cleary

The Great Way is formless; the universe is the Way with form. The universe itself does not speak; sages are a universe that can speak. I did not get to see the sages, but I have read their classic writings. By reading their classic writings, one can understand their principles; how is that different from seeing the sages?

God creates our bodies, God bestows our nature. Inside and outside are both from God; how dare we derange them? We are within God, God is in our hearts; if we see the universe and emulate its purity, this is not different from the Great Way. If we have even a little selfish intent, we experience penalties that are not trivial.

The physical body is God-given nature; if you act in accord with God-given nature, you will spontaneously be free of the burden of human desires. Daily tasks are norms; act in obedience to the laws of God and there will be no mistaken excesses.

David Lynch: Consciousness, Creativity and the Brain

This talk on transcendental meditation, consciousness, creativity and the brain is a fascinating look at what several noted academics and film director David Lynch are doing to promote true world peace; the lasting peace that comes from inner peace.

About 45 minutes into the talk, John Hegalin Ph.D. speaks about the scientifically documented information regarding transcendental meditation, he also demonstrates, with a student hooked to an EEG, the effects of meditation on the student’s brainwave patterns.

Opening to the Greater Reality

No man is an island, entire of itself
every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main
if a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were,
as well as if a manor of thy friends or of thine own were
any man’s death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind
and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls
it tolls for thee. ~ John Donne

Our Collective Body

The great sage, A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (founder of the Hari Krishna movement), once said “there is no love but self-love.” He certainly doesn’t mean “self-love” as the popular, ego-centered existence, would have you create. It is an entirely different notion of the “self,” one that regards all sentient beings as part of one’s self-hood.

Like many of the great thinkers throughout history, Srila Prabhupada realized that we are all intimately joined with a great body of energy that forms the basis all beings in the myriad of dimensions that make up our existence.

Indeed the thoughts that comprise the very fiber of our being are made of energy, not atoms and molecules. Still today, however, the scientists are mystified by the psychic world, as they have not yet devised a method by which psychic forces can be measured and understood with material instruments.

Dr. Mercola’s Beginner Nutrition Plan!

If you’re ready to make a change in your nutrition, but don’t know where to start, I would highly recommend you take a look at Dr. Mercola’s nutrition plan. There is no charge or signups, it is posted there for the benefit of the public.

If you have the discipline to follow the steps you can greatly reduce your risk of Type II diabetes, cancer and a myriad of other chronic degenerative illnesses. Despite the trouble of changing lifestyle and altering habits, it can make you feel quite good; if it is anything like my experience, you will wonder why you didn’t try something like this earlier.

The plan is designed to help you move from a standard diet into a progressively healthier diet, rich in whole raw foods, and without many of the harmful foods that are so commonly consumed today.

Most of us don’t realize that (un-sprouted) grains are actually quite harmful to your health and should be taken sparingly. They cause your insulin levels to be excessively high and lead to Type II Diabetes or even Celiac Disease.

So thats the plan in a nutshell, give it a shot if you’re ready for a nice change 🙂

Dr. Mitchell Gibson on Spiritual Healing

Dr. Mitchell Gibson is a rare kind of medical professional. From an early age he used Buddhist meditation to purify his thoughts and energy. This enabled him to discover aspects of medicine that go far beyond what most doctors understand.

Most doctors are highly trained at understanding which disease a person has, based upon the symptoms that are observed; it is rare, however, that a doctor understand the underlying cause of the disease. According to the wisdom of spiritual healers, both diseases and healing come from the higher spiritual realms and then travel into the body.

Two health-related forces are at work during one’s life. Qliphothic forces create evil and suffering in one’s life while Sephirothic forces create goodness and well-being in one’s life. These two forces interpolate to help us, should we choose to do so, to grow spiritually and reach higher levels of intimacy with the creator. Read the rest of this entry »
